Executive Education

ESCP Europe, known for its excellence in teaching, research and economics expertise, has worked closely with companies for many years.

The challenges of the current crisis have made this link all the more vital, and custom training programmes specifically adapted to the needs and strategic challenges of companies have become essential.

Executive Programmes
  • The ESCP Europe Executive MBA is an 18-month, part-time programme designed to fit in around your current full-time employment. Taught across our five European campuses and at partner institutions worldwide, its customisable curriculum integrates core courses, electives, international seminars and a consultancy project.

On joining the EMBA you will find yourself working alongside participants and faculty members from around the world, all of whom have backgrounds in a vast array of industries. At ESCP Europe we pride ourselves on providing an enviable worldview to all our students and facilitating their cross-border career progression upon graduation.

  • Few would go up against the view that energy companies and policy makers are facing many significant challenges as we enter a new era.

The issues to be addressed are many: can we count on technological breakthroughs to cope with surging energy demand and at the same time handle the long term environmental constraints? What type of regulatory framework is most likely to provide the incentives for the necessary changes to take place?

  • The Executive Master in Marketing and Creativity (EMMK) is a 16-month, part-time programme beginning in September 2014.

This ground-breaking programme is designed for current marketing professionals wishing to stay ahead of the curve, as well as those planning to enter the sector and facing the challenge of getting up to pace.

Bespoke Executive Education

Based in one of the world's major cities for business, the ESCP Europe London campus provides education in the most relevant location possible. And as the business school for Europe, ESCP Europe is bridging the gap between the corporate and academic worlds by providing tailored executive education for both domestic and international organisations.

Our world-class faculty work alongside our clients to explore and understand both the needs of their organisations and how best to provide a training solution that best fits their business issues.

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that individuals are the architects of their own development rather than passive recipients of learning. Our bespoke programmes address multiple learning outcomes, focusing on knowledge, skills and attitudes. We believe in lifelong learning, and that any training initiative ought to form part of a continuing process and belong to a wider context of succession planning and/or talent management.

Our Approach

At ESCP Europe we pride ourselves on our client-oriented approach. We:

  • Understand the business context: The business of the client, the key drivers, the corporate culture and the strategy. Our training is built around this understanding.
  • Design and assembly: Once the business context has been clarified, the design and assembly of the programme can start. It is vital at this stage that both the individual and organisational needs are taken into account.
  • Delivery and evaluation: The delivery of the programme is, to some extent, the 'easy' part of the process. We firmly believe in the need for a thorough feedback, analysis and considerations on identified key areas of improvement for the programmes.

Our Expertise

Whether you are looking to attract new talent to your organisation; to retain, train and engage your current workforce; or to generate an innovative solution to a new business challenge, ESCP Europe has the capabilities and unique resources of a knowledge-generating enterprise to help companies move forward. We combine experiential, proactive, practical learning with modern theory-based learning techniques. Our main areas of expertise are:

  • Energy Management
  • Corporate Finance
  • Business Strategy
  • Organisational Transformation
  • Organisational Behaviour
  • Leadership

Our Clients

The majority of our clients prefer for their time with us to remain confidential. However, we can happily say we have provided successful bespoke programmes for global pharmaceutical, telecommunication and governmental organisations.

How Can We Help?

If you would like a bespoke educational programme for your company, please feel free to contact us to discuss your needs and expectations.

Professor at IFP, President - Association for the Development of Energy in Africa
Course Description

Gas and oil play a key role in Africa. In North Africa, four countries out of the seven are gas and oil producers, three of which are large consumers/exporters.

In Sub-Saharan Africa, oil is by far the most important source of commercial energy. While some countries (e.g. Nigeria and Angola) are large producers/exporters, many others require imported oil; as such, their energy bill is a large percentage of their GDP.

Developing gas and oil production, improving the management of oil revenues, developing the logistics for gas and oil imports and exports, and methods of saving gas and oil everywhere possible are all key issues in Africa.
