The RCEM at ESCP Europe hosted a discussion on “EU-Russian Relations from the Prism of EU Law”. The event took place at ESCP Europe's London Campus at 6:00 pm on 11th February, 2016.

Guest speaker Ana Stanič, Solicitor Advocate and an Honorary Lecturer at the Centre of Mining and Natural Resources at the University of Dundee, discussed the current issues surrounding EU/Russia relations from the prism of EU law, governments’ strategies, and various other geopolitical implications.

David Koranyi, Director, Eurasian Energy Futures Initiative at Atlantic Council discussed the current issues surrounding the U.S. energy market, government’s strategy, and various other geopolitical implications.

Energy Session on "Bi-regional Energy collaboration: Challenges and Opportunities", coordinated by Prof. Dr Kostas Andriosopoulos.

The Conference was organised by Centre d’Etudes et de Recherche Amérique Latine Europe (CERALE), in collaboration with the Research Centre for Energy Management (RCEM) at ESCP Europe Business School. The event took place on 30th - 31st May, 2016 in Paris.

The meeting aimed to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and to present new research results on the theory and modern practice of modeling, risk management, asset pricing and energy management, with a focus on energy modeling and regulation. The event brought together government representatives, international organizations, financial institutions, energy corporations, law firms and top energy experts to discuss the current challenges and opportunities of the Energy industry in Latin America and Europe.

The Research Centre for Energy Management (RCEM) at ESCP Europe was pleased to support the Energy and Commodity Finance Conference 2016 organised by ESSEC Business School. The event took place on 23rd-24th June 2016, in Paris.

The Energy and Commodity Finance Conference 2016 followed in the footsteps of a long standing series of Energy Finance meetings that held their first event in London in 2004 and nowadays represents the benchmark academic conference in the area.

The RCEM at ESCP Europe hosted a discussion on the topic “Investing in the SE Med Energy Sector in a $30 oil price environment. Opportunities and Challenges”. The event will took place at ESCP Europe's London Campus at 6:30 pm on 26th January, 2016.

Guest speaker Mathios Rigas discussed the drop in oil prices and the effect this has had on the industry; the latest discoveries in the SE Mediterranean; and the role of Greece and investors. Our speaker explored the challenges presented and opportunities available therein.
