We remind you that the 3rd Edition of the ESCP Europe Energy Trading Challenge is fast approaching. The best students from leading HE in the UK, Europe and the Americas have already registered to participate in the competition. This year’s event is sponsored by Glencore (one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 90 commodities, with 90 offices in over 50 countries).

Upcoming activities can be found below:

1. ESCP Europe Energy Trading Challenge taking place on 22nd & 23rd February, 2019. The event is jointly organised by our MSc in Energy Management (MEM) students, in collaboration with Smart Global, ESCP Europe, and its RCEM. You have until the end of the 5th of February to register your team.
2. The 4th HAEE Energy Conference taking place in Athens on 6th - 8th May. The event is organised by the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE), Greek affiliate of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE).

For those who are more advanced in their professional career (more than 5 years of experience), we also offer a part-time Executive Master in Energy Management (EMEM). Individual modules from the EMEM programme are offered as an optional study track. Admissions for the programmes operate with rolling deadlines. Our masterclass in "Small Scale LNG" in cooperation with Energy Delta Institute and Fluxys will take place from 28th - 30th October, 2019. ESCP Europe Energy Trading Roundtable 2019

The ESCP Europe Energy Society in collaboration with Smart Global, the Research Centre for Energy Management (RCEM) and ESCP Europe hosted a round-table discussion on "2019: What does the future hold for oil & gas markets?" held in tandem with the ESCP Europe Energy Trading Challenge 2019. This year's event was sponsored by Glencore.

The discussion took place on 22 February at ESCP Europe's London Campus, the debate brought together world-class academics, top industry experts, and young talent from across the globe.

ESCP Europe Business School and its Research Centre for Energy Management (RCEM) will take part as Knowledge Partners at the 4th HAEE Energy Symposium organised by the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) on 6 - 8 May 2019 in Athens, Greece.

It is an undeniable fact that we are witnessing a new evolving era in the global energy scene. This volatile environment poses serious questions, challenges and opportunities for countries, industries, professionals and academics. Apart from globally oriented concerns, the symposium will focus on the European energy sector which should constantly cope with uncertainties in the South-Eastern European region, which is a very sensitive area due to continuously changing geopolitical and social conditions.
